I have been seriously neglecting this journal. Well, posting on it. Looking back at my few entries, I realize that I used it mostly as a list about what I was up to in video games. Give me a moment to put together a list of what I've done over the past however-many-months since January.
January
My best friend, Roxy, moved to California on the 6th. It was like half of me was ripped away and I didn't really feel like doing anything. Snow and ice plus lack of BFF equals mopey Kaylas. Later in the month, Grandma,(the one who lives with us and is in a wheelchair), had to have an emergency gallbladder surgery.I'm...actually still not quite sure what that is, but they couldn't have waited another day to operate or bad things I am in denial over would have happened.
February
Ummmm, I...actually don't recall what the hell I did in February. That is probably because I was mopey and sad. If Watchmen was out in February then I saw it. it was either this month or March. Or was it April?. I saw Watchmen and then I read the comic. Rorshach is love. Bubastis is love. and Veidt is possibly homosexual and I must investigate further. <3
March
Same with March. Man, what the hell, what did I do then! FFFFff this is why I need to remember to post at least once a week. You know what, in March, I ate a cheeseburger. You know what, after the list of months, I'm gonna put a list of Books/movies I saw/read.
April
I turned 19. Two more years and I can drink and see what the big deal is. I got myself Pokemon Platinum as a present and got the walk-through which has a complete pokedex in it from Tara (who I told to get me).
May
On Memorial Day, (the 25th), Zach, who is a buddy of mine and who I've been hanging out with fairly regularly since Botcon 08, and I went and saw the new Star Trek. My god, that was an incredible movie. Much better than Wolverine Origins. Right before the movie started Zach asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes. Then I said, "SHHHHH the movie's starting". Great timing dude.
June
Began trying to transfer to Purdue University Calumet as it is faaaarr less expensive than Valparaiso University was/is. I can't give you my kidneys Valpo, I need those for something. No, Valpo, you can't have my liver either. I'll eventually need that to drink. Had one month anniversary with Zach. We saw Night at the Museum 2: Battle at the Smithsonian.
July
Tried to get credits transfered to PCal and get Financial Aid transfered. Had two month anniversary with Zach. I planned a picnic, but it was hot outside so it was an indoor, slightly a surprise, picnic. it was awesome. Grandpa helped me cook some chicken. I made rolls and pasta salad and Daina was nice and picked up some chocolate chip cookies and sparkling grape juice for me. (The grape juice comes in a bottle that looks like wine, see, I can be kinda romantic.) Then I ruined the effect by keeping the "wine" cold in a saucepan full of ice. It was my redneck wine bucket. It was so, so, horribly trashy. The food wasn't that bad. OH! I almost forgot. I found a dead adolescent robin in the yard. I think it was either a wing injury or a neck injury that killed him. (Him being the gender I picked as birds are a pain sometimes to identify). I liked him. I believe I named him Worthington. Then a damn stray cat stole him from me. That smug bastard. Yes, I know, playing with a dead bird is unsanitary as well as strange. Don't worry though, I was wearing medical gloves.

silverspidertm2and I had been talking on the interwebz for over a year now and it turns out she'd be in Chicago for a few days. Seeing as how I live fairly close to Chicago, we decided to meet up in person. After assuring each other that "I promise I 'm not actually a creepy 40 year old stalker/rapist guy", we met up on (I think it was)the 26th. Man, it was awesome! It wasn't awkward at all! It was like IMing but in person and Spider got to see what I flailing dork I am!. Hopefully, I was not flailing too much. Spider, we totally gotta do that again. Zach and I also had a kinda belated 3 month anniversary. We didn't do much. We actually celebrated it more in September. Also, I got scheduled for classes at PCal and got my books and stuff.
September
Alrighty, so I'm in four classes and they are what my advisor could get me in seeing as how I got to schedule the last day available to. No problem, they'll fit somewhere. Also, I am an Undecided Major again. Teaching, I don't believe, will be for me. This is my schedule. I commute btw.
Tues: 9:30 - 10:50 Intro to Higher Ed - Some sorta "Freshman, this is college" type thing.
11:00 - 12:20 Politics - American politics. I'm rather ambivalent right now. (is that the right word?)
Hour and a half space of time before last two classes
2:00 - 3:20 History of the Modern World - Seems interesting so far.
3:30 - 4:50 Intermediate Algebra - Despite the hardness it will become, I like it (that's what she said)
On Thursday's it is the same thing, except that on Tuesday's I'm on campus until 11pm. That is voluntary however as I have made friends with the PUGG.
I shall explain what the PUGG is at a later time.
